Frohsin & Barger was formed by experienced trial lawyers from a major Southern law firm, who realized that complex civil litigation is better managed in a boutique environment where a single litigation team handles a particular case from start to finish. Henry Frohsin’s experience managing both civil and criminal litigation for the United States Attorney for the Northern District of Alabama as First Assistant for more than 15 years and as the former head of civil litigation for a large defense firm offers clients a progressive, proactive, creative approach to complex litigation.

While large corporate firms typically live and die by the “billable hour” which has been severely criticized by the New York Times and others, Frohsin & Barger understands that the commodity it offers its clients is intellectual services—not mere time on a clock. Therefore, we have abandoned the big firm “billable hour” approach and instead offer our clients a flat fee combined with success fees for positive outcomes and incentive payments for meeting litigation benchmarks. Our goal then is the same as that of our clients—to win the case as quickly and as efficiently as possible.

Frohsin & Barger’s civil practice is devoted entirely to complex cases, including involved commercial and real estate disputes, civil RICO actions, intellectual property disputes, and commercial fraud actions.
